Second in the Cosmosis series... I have been making this style of painting in smaller sizes and have had recurring requests for larger sizes. Now that i am equipped to ship a 16 x 20, this is one of my favorite styles--for the first time ever, in a larger size.

This folk art piece has a deliciously colored sky and many 3D elements. The tree trunk is a rugged sculpted (bark-like) surface and the flowers have gold mica flakes and the moon has pearl mica flakes that are light reactive and 3D.

Second in the new Polymer's Travels series, which now include some interference paints which interact radically with other colors and often create metallic effects and color shifts as you move around or change the angle of the light. Very cool, not easy to capture in still photos. Note to self... someday we will need to try video to show the color shift effects.

I am loving the simplicity and feeling of this village i have been evolving. It was patterned after the delightful "Venetian" apartments in Capitola, CA and is now veering toward a much more European look. I love the exploration of color in the facades of the homes... and now we have boats on the water! The first two of these sold first time out, another reason to make another.
