The sea near the village has acquired both sailboats and seagulls at this point. I especially love the color studies of the facades.

I am loving the simplicity and feeling of this village i have been evolving. It was patterned after the delightful "Venetian" apartments in Capitola, CA and is now veering toward a much more European look. I love the exploration of color in the facades of the homes... and now we have boats on the water! The first two of these sold first time out, another reason to make another.

I am enchanted with the color possibilities in this village scene. I want to vary the color range within each house, play with suggested textures and try more transparent layers on the ocean.
