Welcome to my new blog. Since art is the topic, let me begin right away with a new painting, the most recent cityscape that i have done in an ongoing series. I have been exploring skylines as geometry and color, but this is the first painting done from ground level.

This is an acrylic and oil painting on a 12 x 16 inch stretched canvas with UV protective gel. I used micaceous iron oxide to create the asphalt-like texture on the roadway. The moon is painted in luminescent white which shifts as one moves. I will list this painting for auction in my store on eBay, later today.
